We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our team.

What is the role?

  • Responsible for leading engineering design for brownfield sustaining capital process plant projects
  • Based on experience, the candidate will be expected to propose and implement standard and non-standard solutions to uniquely meet our client’s needs
  • Manage multiple assigned brownfield sustaining capital projects
  • Fly in/out on 4x3 shift
  • Prepare and modify engineer design basis and provide guidelines for detailed engineering
  • Assist with inter-discipline coordination of design renews
  • Respond to various engineering inquiries from plant site personnel and project stakeholders
  • Manage outgoing definition of the scope of work through changes and different engineering phases
  • Be responsible for presenting project decisions and recommendations to project stakeholders

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with a Professional Engineer designation recognized by APEGA, (preferably a mechanical background) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

This is a term project assignment ending at the end of the calendar year with possible extension. The position is located in our client’s Fort McMurray site.
